If someone posts your content without permission, the law lets you send the website a formal notice telling them to take it down. That one letter is the whole mechanism. You don't need a lawsuit or a lawyer to send it.
You can file your own notices for free, and for one or two leaks that's reasonable. It falls apart at volume. Every host wants its own format and a real name on the filing, and that name can end up visible to the very person who leaked you. For a creator working under a stage name, that's the opposite of what you want.
