Fansly piracy: how to report stolen creator content

By Zander Small, co-founder of FanlockUpdated October 13, 2026

What to know first

If someone reposts your Fansly content, preserve the direct URLs and report it to Fansly support and the site or platform hosting the copy. Fansly’s help center offers DMCA assistance; search delisting is a separate request from removing the source.

What to do

  1. Preserve the location Save the direct post or file URL, account name and date. Keep your original work and evidence that identifies it without downloading suspicious files.
  2. Check whether you authorized the use Exclude your official accounts and approved promotions. A search match alone does not prove infringement.
  3. Contact Fansly Use the Help button or support@fansly.com with the links and relevant watermark information. Its help center explains how to request assistance.
  4. Report the source copy Use the host or platform copyright route when you hold the rights. Give the original-work reference and exact unauthorized locations.
  5. Request search removal separately A Google delisting reduces discovery in Search; the underlying page may remain online. Track the source and search requests as separate outcomes.
  6. Track responses and reposts Keep case references, replies and checks showing whether each URL remains accessible. Use the impersonation or intimate-image route where copyright is not the right claim.

Use watermark evidence carefully

Fansly’s help center explains watermarking and asks creators to share relevant watermark details with support. Preserve that evidence privately; do not publish accusations about a subscriber based on an unclear screenshot.

What Fanlock can add

A free Fanlock account scan checks Google and websites for potential matches. Paid coverage starts with Google and websites on Basic, adds Bing/Yahoo and social takedowns on Pro, and adds Telegram on Max. Review the DMCA service guide for the process and limits.

Common questions

Does Fansly help with stolen content?

Its help center describes DMCA assistance and asks you to send URLs and evidence through support.

Will a watermark prevent a leak?

It can help identify and document a copy, but it cannot guarantee that someone will not capture or repost content.

Is a fake Fansly account a copyright issue?

It depends on what it does. Copied work may support a copyright complaint; impersonation may require the platform’s identity-reporting route as well.
