Choose the search that fits the material
Start with an image you are authorized to use and a record of your official accounts. Check a sample of results for false matches and authorized reposts before asking anyone to remove them. Save the exact page and image URLs so a notice can identify the location.
Face search and reverse-image matching answer different questions. A similar-looking face is not proof of identity, ownership or infringement. A search engine’s result list also does not establish how much of the wider web it covers.

PimEyes advertises request tools and optional takedown-agent support on PROtect. Describing it as having no removal assistance is inaccurate. The service does not control the external websites in its results.
Its FAQ says query photos are processed temporarily and deleted within a maximum of 48 hours. Uploading a query should not be described as publishing that photo to its public image index. This is the provider’s policy statement, not an independent privacy audit.
