Introducing scan tiers

New on your Fanlock dashboard. Three tiers, one picker, you choose how aggressive the social scanner is. Live now in Settings → Scans for every paid creator.

Settings → Scans

BalancedAggressiveMaximum

The picker in the dashboard. Aggressive is the recommended pick for most adult creators.

What's new

Three scan strength tiers control what the social scanner pulls down on X, Reddit, and fan accounts:

  • Balanced.Pirated paid content only.
  • Aggressive.Balanced, plus any nudes of you on accounts not yours. Recommended for most adult creators.
  • Maximum.Every post of you, anywhere except accounts you own.

Pick one. The scanner respects it on your next run. You can change it anytime.

Why we shipped it

Creators kept telling us the same thing while we were building the new social scanner. Pirated paid content is unambiguous. Everyone wants free uploads of OnlyFans clips, leaked Patreon sketches, and subreddits trafficking their nudes pulled down.

But SFW reposts are a different conversation. A fan account quoting your tweet drives traffic to your X profile. An r/funny link to your YouTube clip is the kind of word-of-mouth most creators would pay for. A repost on a 500k-follower fan page lands real eyeballs on content you put out for free anyway.

One creator put it bluntly: “If a fan tweets a screenshot of my new trailer, I want that up. I don't want a takedown bot pulling it down because the picture has my face in it.”

We were defaulting everyone to the same line. That was wrong for half the roster. Scan tiers fix it.

How the cascade works

Each tier inherits the one before it. Aggressive removes everything Balanced removes plus its own list. Maximum removes everything Aggressive removes plus its own list.

Three signals ignore the picker entirely. They trigger a takedown at every tier:

Always on, every tier

Three signals ignore your scan tier setting. They're removed even if you're on Balanced.

  • Deepfakes. Treated as a leak signal at every tier. No opt-out.
  • Links to known leak sites. A post linking to thothub or a paid leak forum gets pulled regardless of what else is in it.
  • Pirated paid content. Free uploads of paywalled work come down at every tier. That's the floor.

What each tier pulls down

The cards below list the literal posts that come down or stay up at each tier, so you can pick based on what you actually want.

Balanced

Lightest

Comes down

  • ·Free uploads of your paid OF/Fansly clips
  • ·Screenshots of your paywalled posts
  • ·Anything lifted from behind your paywall

Stays up

  • ·Fan tweets and reaction posts
  • ·Promo screenshots and trailers
  • ·SFW reposts of you on accounts you don't own

Pick it if

A SFW post of you is good for business no matter who's posting it. You want pirates handled, fans free.

Aggressive

Recommended

Comes down

  • ·Everything Balanced removes
  • ·Any nude or explicit photo of you on accounts not yours
  • ·Fan accounts that share your nudes
  • ·Subreddits dedicated to your nudes

Stays up

  • ·SFW fan accounts and hype posts
  • ·Reaction tweets
  • ·Promo reposts with no nudity

Pick it if

You want pirates dealt with and your nudes off random accounts, but you're fine with SFW fan culture.

Maximum

Strictest

Comes down

  • ·Every post of you on any account that isn't yours
  • ·SFW fan accounts and reposts
  • ·News embeds and screenshots
  • ·Reaction tweets with your photo

Stays up

  • ·Only the accounts you've added in Personas

Pick it if

You're cleaning up your digital footprint or going under a stage name. You want every photo of you online to be on an account you control.

Defaults

New paid creators default to Aggressive. For most adult creators, it's the right pick. Pirates handled, nudes off random accounts, SFW fan culture left alone.

Existing creators stay on whatever they had before. Nobody got moved between tiers as part of this rollout.

If you've never opened the picker, your account is still scanning at the previous default. Take 30 seconds, set the tier, and the scanner adjusts on the next run.

What scan tiers don't affect

  • ·Google delisting. Runs on its own logic.
  • ·Telegram takedowns. Separate enforcement track.
  • ·Web takedowns. Our 4M+ site list runs through a separate scanner.
  • ·Existing takedowns. The picker only affects new candidates the scanner flags going forward, not what's already in your queue.
  • ·Personas accounts. Posts on accounts you've added as your own stay up regardless of tier.

The picker is specifically for the social scanner.
